Hello ! My name is Tyrhea Mason. I have lived in Columbia, South Carolina for the past 6 years. I was born in Philadelphia, PA but raised in McCormick, SC. Before attending college, I was enrolled in the Dual Enrollment program at Piedmont Technical College in McCormick, SC. I had the great pleasure of earning my Associate’s Degree of Arts in 2018. After High School, I went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Columbia College in 2021.
In my experience, I’ve worked with children within classrooms and special education settings. Previously, I completed my third year of teaching kindergarten. I discovered About Play in my process of looking for a new career closer to home and an opportunity to work in a smaller setting. I am proud to bring my skills, resources, and knowledge from my prior experiences to this company.
