In my world, blocks build more than towers…they build confidence.
Hi, my name is Tandrea Henry, and through play, I help children strengthen communication, independence, and emotional regulation in ways that feel natural and joyful. I am passionate about creating a safe, encouraging environment where every small win is celebrated, and every child feels seen and supported. By partnering closely with families, I strive to turn everyday moments into meaningful progress, helping children grow not only in skill but in self-belief. These shared values are what have drawn me to the About Play Family.
I graduated from East Carolina University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Community Services. I grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and now reside in Summerville, South Carolina. My background and experience in working with children from birth to age five have equipped me with patience and the ability to adapt to each child’s unique learning style.
I am family-oriented and faith-driven, and I enjoy being a wife and mother to our 4 beautiful children. I enjoy being a listening ear to those around me, serving in my local church, thrifting and all things related to crafting!
I believe in the hands of a child, blocks become blueprints for courage, creativity, and growth.
So let’s build and let’s PLAY!
