My name is Shelby Ashe and I am joining About Play as an Early Interventionist. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I started out as a preschool teacher working with children from birth to age 5, as well as working with the afterschool program. I love to read and visit the flea market to find unique items. I found About Play when I was looking for a career where I can help children who need extra support meet their personal development goals. I am looking forward to meeting the families and seeing the excitement on the children’s faces when they meet their goals!
