Hello, my name is Raven Hope and I’m from Columbia, S.C. During my high school years, I often volunteered at my church to help with the young children on Sundays. This experience not only helped me decide on my passion, it also helped me pursue a career path for College. I graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Newberry College. In college, I worked for the Boys and Girls Club at Prosperity-Rikard Primary School and had the opportunity to work with children aged 5 to 9. After college I was employed at Kingdom Kids Child Development Center as a Lead Teacher for the 3 year old’s class. I enjoy listening to music, dancing, spending time with my family and being a mom to a busy toddler. I discovered About Play through a current staff member who shares a similar passion for children. I believe I would love to see the progress of every child. Being able to contribute to early childhood development makes a difference not just for the child, but also for the family.
