My name is Maddie Hutcherson, and I am very excited to join the About Play team!
I was born and raised in Irmo, South Carolina, and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health. I have several years of experience working with children through babysitting and volunteer roles, where I developed a foundation in supporting early childhood development.
I am passionate about helping children receive the support they need early in life so they can thrive as they grow, which is what drew me to the field of early intervention. I’m looking forward to getting to work alongside children and their families while helping them grow and reach important milestones.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
