Hello! My name is Lauren Dennis, and I am excited to be joining the About Play Team. I was born in Charlotte North Carolina. My family and I moved to Clover, South Carolina about 15 years ago. I graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services. After working at the YMCA as an Afterschool Counselor and as a Toddler Teacher, I realized my passion for working with children and helping others. I discovered About Play through a Lander website called Handshake. I enjoy working out, watching Netflix, and trying new restaurants in my free time. I am excited about this amazing opportunity with About Play and I can’t wait to connect with the children and their families!
