My name is Kayla Johnson. I was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. I have 5 siblings ranging in age from 25 years old t0 1 year old. When I graduated high school, I was a Certified Nursing Assistant for a couple years. I graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Minor in Human Services. I have always had a passion for helping people in general, but children hold a special place in my heart. I developed a love for children at an early age, and it continued to grow as I pursued classes geared towards Children & Adolescent Development, as well as worked with children at the YMCA throughout my college years.
Helping children every day is what I thrive for and being a part of this company is just the spark I need in my life. In fulfilling this role as a Early Interventionist, I desire to have a big impact on children and their families in which we serve. It takes a village conveys the idea that many people are needed to provide a safe and healthy environment for children to develop and flourish. Children make the world go round and having the proper care, love and guidance is what makes them become their best version of themselves!
In my spare time I enjoy binge watching Netflix shows. I am family orientated therefore spending time with my family and friends, especially my siblings are major to me. I also like to go shopping, bowling, and enjoying a good seafood boil. In my free time a nice walk in the park on cool days are my go-to. I also enjoy being by the water.
