Hi! My name is Jocelyn Taylor. I am originally from Wisconsin, but moved down to the Lexington area at the beginning of this year. I graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Psychology, with a focus in the area of child psychology. I have worked with children since I was in high school, and knew that it was a passion to work and experience seeing children flourish and hit milestones that you were able to assist with. I have experience working as a nanny for all ages, as a daycare teacher with the 1 and under age group, and as a home visitor with the ages 3 and under. I was interested in early intervention when I was looking for after-grad job opportunities, and I realized how much I loved helping kids reach their full potential and knowing that I am the one who can help assist them to obtain goals and milestones. After doing research I found About Play and felt that it would be an amazing fit. I am excited to meet and grow with my families and being the extra support they can ask for help from.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the water kayaking, being outside, reading, decorating, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
