Hi, my name is Claire Quinlivan. I am from Cary, NC, and currently live in Greenville, SC. I graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Service Studies with minors in Psychology and Poverty & Social Justice. I have always been passionate about helping others, and taking courses on family therapy and play therapy in college led me towards working with children and families. After graduating, I spent a year living in France as a live-in nanny (au pair). I loved my experience and realized how much of an impact I could make by working closely with a family. Upon returning to the US and discovering Early Intervention, I realized I could work with other families in a similar way. I am so excited to be a part of the About Play team and help children and families on their developmental journeys!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family. I also love travelling and spending time outside.
