Hi! My name is Aubrie Patch-Carlson, and I’m originally from Ohio but recently relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.

After graduation, I was hired by my internship agency, where I worked with prenatal mothers and babies. This experience helped me discover my passion for Maternal and Infant Health Social Work. For the past five years, I’ve continued this work with another agency, partnering closely with Early Intervention services as a home visitor to support mothers and babies experiencing developmental delays. It’s incredibly rewarding to help families reach their goals and celebrate their progress along the way.

I first learned about About Play while researching on the BabyNet website before my move to South Carolina, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to continue supporting children and families as an Early Interventionist.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, whether we’re enjoying a day at the beach, going on a date night, working out at the gym, or relaxing at home watching reality TV.
