Hi, my name is Anterrica Vicks, and I was born in Florida and raised in Albany, Georgia. I reside in Sumter with my husband, three children, and my dog. I graduated from Point University with a Bachelor of
Science in Child Development. I am a military spouse and have been here in Sumter, SC going on five years now and I must say I enjoyed being here so far. My love for children started when I was in the 6th
grade helping my mother with her daycare during the summer months. I knew then I desired to work with children, in addition to that, I come from a family of educators who inspired and encouraged me to pursue my goals and dreams. I have been working in the educational field since 2012. My motto is: Teaching more than imparting knowledge, it is inspiring change! Helping children reach their developmental goals makes me very happy to know that I am helping someone’s child reach their developmental milestones. I discovered About Play on Indeed. I found interest in this organization and instantly knew this was a great fit for me. I am looking forward to helping and serving families and children to reach their early intervention goals.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, going to church, and meeting new people.
