Hi! My name is Lexie Alverson and I’m so excited to be part of the About Play team. I graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Youth Development Programming. My background has given me a strong foundation in understanding child development, as well as the importance of building supportive and trusting relationships. Outside of work, I love reading, being outside, traveling, and anything that lets me be creative and connect with others.
I first learned about About Play after graduation was immediately drawn to the company’s mission of helping children thrive through play and meaningful engagement. What I know I’ll love most about my job is getting to know each child and family personally, supporting their growth, and celebrating their progress along the way. I’m truly grateful to be part of such a caring, passionate team, and I look forward to all the little victories and smiles ahead!
