Hello, my name is Adriaonna Hill, and I’m from Batesburg, SC. I graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in education. During college, I volunteered as a teaching assistant in my hometown. I also volunteered at the Aiken Boys and Girls Club, where I helped children with their homework. My internship at the Children’s Place in Aiken was a driving factor in my decision to apply for this position. Interacting with the children at the center taught me the value of playing with children. It immerses you in their world and allows you to witness their experiences. I am excited to begin this new role and continue to experience the influence that play has on children. My mother and a friend who works for the company both informed me about the position.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, whether we are outside or going out. I also enjoy watching Netflix and trying new hobbies. I am really excited about this new adventure at About Play!
