Socialization Sunday was a special gathering designed to bring together families of children receiving early intervention services through About Play. Open to all families working with an About Play early interventionist, the event offered a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and build a supportive community beyond their regular therapy sessions.
Families enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon with food provided by Texas Roadhouse, entertainment for the kids courtesy of Busy Bee Playhouse, and a swimming lesson vendor on hand to share resources and opportunities for continued development in the water.
At its heart, Socialization Sunday was about more than just a great afternoon out — it was about creating meaningful connections among families navigating similar journeys with children with developmental delays, and fostering a network of support that extends beyond the therapy room.
