Hey Family!! My name is Tori Burns and I’m originally from Georgia. I currently reside in Sumter, SC, on military orders. I’ve been working with children and families for 14 years and counting. I have a passion for working with children with developmental delays/disabilities. It’s very rewarding to see children overcome their developmental delays, with the help of EI services and other resources. I work hard for my families so they don’t have to. I recently worked as an Early Intervention Service Coordinator in Virginia, before relocating to Sumter. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education Interdisciplinary Studies, Associate degrees in Early Childhood Education, and General Education.
In my spare time, I love spending quality time with my husband, daughter, son, and chocolate lab Penny (whom loves all my attention)! I also love to shop (yes, retail therapy), paint, draw, exercise, play games with the kiddos, travel, and eat!
I’m excited to be apart of “About Play” and provide exceptional service for my families.
