My name is Morgan Perkins, and I am from Columbia, SC. I am originally from a small town called Estill, SC and currently reside in Beaufort, SC. I graduated from Claflin University with a BA in English with a minor in Early Childhood Education. After taking a short break I then returned to school and received a Master’s of Education in Teaching from the University of South Carolina. I am grateful to have taught preschool for six years and over the course of those years I have seen young children who needed help with different developmental skills but, their parents had little to no knowledge of the resources available. I wanted to be able to help the families in need of the support with resources to help their child become successful in and out of the classroom, which is how I found About Play and wanted to become apart of the team.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and listening to music. I believe that I will love working with the different families and helping the children to improve with their different skills.
