Hi my name is Melissa Levesque. I am originally from Merrimack, New Hampshire and moved to Surfside Beach, South Carolina in 2021 with my husband and 2 daughters to enjoy the warm weather and beautiful beaches.
I graduated from Granite State College in 2019 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I was a preschool special education teacher for 3 years and had worked in the school system for 10 years when I decided to pursue a different career path. I searched for an Early Interventionist opportunity and am thankful to have found About Play.
Working with young children provides me the privilege to positively influence social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Teaching, sharing knowledge, and helping each individual child grow and learn, reaching their full potential is the most meaningful and rewarding career path for me.
In my free time I enjoy crafting, watching movies, snuggling with one of my cats, reading, or enjoying the beautiful weather at the beach with my family!
