Hello, my name is Jennifer Harrison. I am from Kingstree, SC, but currently live in Florence, SC. I attended Francis Marion University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Once I graduated, I accepted a position with the Department of Social Services working in child protective services. This is where I developed a special love for helping children and their families. From there I ventured closer into the mental health field, so I have over 15 years of working with children of all ages with different physical, mental, and intellectual issues.
I came across About Play while on a job search site and began my research on the company. I was very impressed with what I saw and decided to apply for a position as an EI. From the beginning of the hiring process, I felt like I was already a part of the family. I am excited about this opportunity to be a part of this great company. I am looking forward to working with the children and their families as we overcome obstacles while enhancing growth together.
In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends. I also love cooking, going to the movies, and shopping. When time permits going on a vacation is something I look forward to.
