Hi! My name is Gabrielle Kisslinger. I am originally from Bethesda, Maryland but moved to Charleston, SC after graduating from college. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida in May 2024. I really enjoyed all of my psychology classes in school, particularly those relating to development. I also have always loved babysitting and working with kids. I became familiar with early intervention practices when I worked as an assistant teacher at a pre school my senior year of college. I spent the year assisting with children aged 5 months to 5 years. It was extremely rewarding to be able to experience firsthand the amount of growth the children made throughout the year, and the significant role the teachers played in the process.
When I graduated, I was looking for a job that combined my passions for psychology and working with children. I definitely found that in About Play and cannot wait to make a positive impact on the lives of many young children and families.
In my free time, I enjoy yoga, traveling, reading, and movie nights with my friends.
