Hi! I’m Amaya Gordon and I’m excited to be a part of the About Play team. I earned my degree from USC Upstate with a Bachelor’s of Art in Child Development and Family Studies. My passion for children began my 2nd year of college. I knew I wanted to have a positive impact on children and their families , but I didn’t want to take the traditional teaching route. Through research I learned about Early Intervention and I knew immediately I had found my calling. I found out about About Play through my job search with EI programs in the Upstate. I’m excited to work with people who share my passion for supporting little ones and their families.
When I’m not working I enjoy watching psychological thrillers, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
